Dinner

“Last night’s seven-course meal was outstanding.  Each course was perfect, and the service was incredible.  Where do you find such staff?”  ~Glenlaurel Guest Comment

The Fine Dining Tradition at Glenlaurel
At the center of every noteworthy country estate is the creative cuisine of the chef. Since its inception, fine dining has been the objective and indeed the practice in the kitchen of Glenlaurel. Each meal is prepared from scratch daily, utilizing the freshest local ingredients.

Our professionally trained Executive Chef Jean Michel “JM” Matos takes great pride to create subtle taste experiences that seduce and delight. Our six-course dinner is $79 per person, and our seven-course signature dinner, featuring Rack of Lamb, is $89 per person; plus, taxes and gratuity (20% gratuity added automatically).

At 6:30 p.m., guests are welcomed to the dining rooms to commence dinner where poetry signals the unveiling of the evening’s centerpiece – a two-hour culinary adventure to be savored in memory. And many a Saturday night a bagpiper in full kilt dress will pipe guests to dinner.

Our chefs pride themselves in being able to serve freshly prepared menus daily and will do their best to accommodate the top five allergens; however, we will never be able to guarantee the absence of cross contamination. Other dietary restrictions, allergens, and preferences are at the discretion of the chef and, if allowed, will necessitate a $25 per visit upcharge to compensate for the additional resources needed to honor the request (top five allergens: soy, wheat, nuts, shellfish, dairy).

Dining at Glenlaurel is often the pinnacle of our guests’ experience. We invite you to the candlelit dining room where your reserved table for two is waiting. Our made from scratch gourmet dinners will take you on a journey combining old world elegance and savory modern-day cuisine. Choose your dining experience and enjoy the magic of Glenlaurel, A Scottish Inn & Cottages.

Please Note: Dinner seating is limited. Glenlaurel inn-guests are given the opportunity to obtain a guaranteed reservation for dinner at the time of their lodging booking. Should guests decline, those two seats are available to the first guests on the waiting list. We require a minimum of 24-hour advance reservations; however, we strongly urge you to make dinner reservations at least 72-hours in advance to guarantee availability. Same day reservations may not be possible due to dining room and/or staffing restrictions and limitations. Canceling dinner reservations with less than 24-hours’ notice will result in a full charge for dining reservations. We are open seven days a week so long as we meet the minimum of six dinner guests. If we do not meet that minimum, and only have one couple they may opt to have a private dining experience with our chef. Please contact Guest Services to inquire.
