Throughout the year at Glenlaurel, we host a number of special events that center on our exquisite Hocking Hills dining that is complimented by our luxurious on-site accommodations. With our excellent and skilled chefs, you can expect a dining experience that will be delicious and entertaining throughout. For each of our events, we do tend to fill up very quickly and want all of our guests to have ample time to make a reservation well in advance. Robert Burns Dinner
Join us every January 25th to celebrate the poet and lyricist Robert Burns birthday. In his short 37 years, Robert Burns created some remarkable poetry that has stood the sands of time. In the tradition of the Scots, Glenlaurel’s Manor House comes alive with a Scottish influenced meal, readings, toasts, merriment, and perhaps some singing. This is just one of many celebrations held around the world on this day, but one of the few in the state of Ohio.

Enjoy lights, decorations, and cozy fire places in the Manor House during the Dickens Dinners, held on select Sunday and Wednesday evenings in December. The Dickens Dinner is a six-course culinary adventure in a traditional Scottish setting featuring worldly modern fare. During dinner, a Victorian attired performer reads selections from the classic Charles Dickens’ story, “A Christmas Carol.” Stay the night of your dinner and receive a 25% lodging discount.
