Glenlaurel is known for an extraordinary dining experience.  Our meals are well thought out and masterfully crafted with fresh ingredients daily.  After many requests from our guests, we are offering Chef Days at Glenlaurel.

Join us for this 2-day event featuring our very own, Chef Jean-Michel “J.M.” Matos.  JM will bring his expertise and charming personality to our Chef demonstrations that will leave our guests entertained and anticipating each session. Call (800).809.REST (7378) to book! 

Tuesday, February 26th

  • 2 pm - Early Check In
  • 3 pm - Meat the Chef – Saint Andrews - Chef Matos will demonstrate how to create multiple meals out of large joint, super market cuts of meat.  The chef will have an interactive time with guests on how to truss a chicken for roasting.  There will also be a wine pairing.
  • 6 pm - Social Hour – Nessie’s Pub
  • 7 pm - Call to Dinner

Wednesday, February 27th

  • 8:30 – 10:30 am – Breakfast – Glasgow
  • 12 pm - Sea the Chef – Saint Andrews – Chef Matos will demonstrate the various ways to cut and cook salmon.  There will also be a wine pairing.
  • 1:30 pm - Lunch Buffet – Chef’s choice of various meats, seafood, salad, vegetable, starch and dessert.
  • 6 pm – Social Hour – Nessie’s Pub
  • 7 pm – Call to Dinner

Thursday, February 28th

  • 8:30 to 10:30 am – Breakfast
  • 11 am – Check out
