The Ross Suite

The spacious Ross Suite is located on the second level of the Carriage House and has a fantastic view of the treetops via widespan sliding doors. The suite consists of one large room with a king-sized sleigh bed with leather inserts on the headboard and a freestanding gas log fireplace located at the foot of the bed, perfect for setting the romantic mood. Decorated in light airy colors, the suite includes a kitchenette and cozy sitting area, and state of the art entertainment system with full theater experience which is Bluetooth ready. The spacious spa-like bathroom has a two-person shower stall and a claw foot pedestal tub, which is a suite unto itself!

The suite’s name, Ross, derives from the ancient Celtic word “Ros,” meaning “a promontory,” in this case the lands of Easter Ross. The clan is known to Highlanders as Clann Aindreas – the sons of Andrew and was called Clann Andrias in Gaelic. Though its name is steeped in history and heritage, this new addition to Glenlaurel Inn is sure to be a popular accommodation for years to come.
