We really enjoyed spending our anniversary here! There are about 4-5 miles of trail around the gorge that we hiked.

Breakfast each day was veery good. We ate dinner there twice with the appetizers stealing the show both nights.

Recently went for the first time for my 4th anniversary, and I got to say, it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I travel for work and are both foodies. So we've been around the block when it comes to trying out local food, and I'm not going to lie, this is some of the best I've come across. I also noticed that they had a greenhouse on site for fresh herbs and micro greens. I can definitely tell it makes a big impact on the freshness of the food.

Our Cabin was also clean and private, something we appreciated.

Lastly, without doing into detail there was an incident of racism with another guest at dinner, and the staff went above and beyond with making it right. They had our back and made sure that we didn't have to interact them them again. So I an attest, if you or your partner are a minority then your safe.

The attention to detail from the accommodations to the food to the experience is well-executed. We appreciate the original vision of Michael who worked diligently to provide a get-away by dreaming up the legend of Glenlaurel. We have been coming for 22 years and have always been treated with the greatest of care. The team works together to create a rich experience and the traditions that brought us here originally have lived on without becoming trite or worn. Besides the accommodations, the grounds, the cuisine, and the staff, we adore the poetry at dinner and the special events throughout the year.

This is my happy place. The great accommodations, the fantastic dining, the beautiful location and a staff that goes above and beyond to make this a relaxing delightful stay. We discovered it in 2016 at the recommendation of a friend. It was just the getaway I needed and we have returned several times since.

A great place to reflect I had a lovely time at Glenlaurel. My Croft was a perfect place for me to relax and refresh. The fireplace in the room set the mood perfectly. The hot tub and star gazing created the atmosphere I was looking for. I loved the food. Breakfast was amazing, dinner was exciting, and the social hour was a great way to interact with other guests. I highly recommend them.

Highly Recommend This was the second time we've stayed at Glenlaurel. It's become our favorite Hocking Hills lodging. The 140 acre property is beautiful, wooded and has private hiking trails. Our room (MacGregor) was clean and very comfortable. The bed mattress, instead of being rock hard like most resorts, was extremely comfortable. Gourmet breakfasts are included. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help. Overall, this Inn is outstanding.
