The Manor House offers two suites and two guest rooms, one suite and one guest room are available in the nearby Carriage House, and 13 cottages & crofts provide park-at-your-door convenience or a short five-minute walk.

Most have a view of the gas log fireplace from the bed. The whirlpool or hot tubs are pre-heated and ready for relaxation. The sound system offers music for cuddling & relaxing. Notations in the room journal from past guests convey the message that many before you have enjoyed a rich interlude.
Each cottage, croft, suite, or room is themed after a prominent personality from Scottish history. The large living room window to the woods is a seasonally changing mural to the many faces of nature. An outside light under the window is for the raccoons and deer who love to dance in the spotlight.
A quiet corner desk patiently waits your penning a note to your love or a resignation letter to your boss! Enjoy the warmth of the massive stone fireplace and the small Franklin stove. A small kitchenette with an intimate table for two is perfect for sharing a hot cup of tea or coffee, a snack, or a romantic in-room dinner.
Glenlaurel opened in 1994, and since that time, it has grown from a wilderness area to a regionally known romantic getaway. All in all lad, you will be hard pressed to find a public place anywhere in the Midwest of America that feels as Scottish as this place -- this Glenlaurel.

Croft is a Scottish name for a small house. Glenlaurel crofts are named after the small farmhouses that dot the Moors and Lochs of Scotland, the Croft experience whispers intimacy and togetherness. Glenlaurel has four East Crofts on Thistle Ridge overlooking Camusfearna Gorge, and three West Crofts in the Hamlet overlooking Bannock Burn Ravine.
East Crofts:
In the East Crofts, a see-through fireplace between the cozy bedroom and the living room sets the mood. A large kitchenette area with a dining table for two and a bathroom with a 2-person shower completes the space. The living room features large picture windows to the woods and has sliding glass doors that lead to a restful screened-in porch and a private deck with a hot tub.
East Croft Rates: $239 per night weeknights, $289 per night weekends.
In the West Crofts, each croft contains one spacious room with a queen sized bed overlooking the massive stone fireplace. An entertainment center for playing DVDs or videos stands in the corner. Cozy, fireside chairs or loveseats invite quiet conversation by a warm, glowing fire. There's a kitchenette area, a spacious bathroom with a shower for two, and a large private deck with a hot tub and lounge chairs. TV/DVD available.
West Croft Rates: $239 per night weeknights, $289 per night weekends.
